Our Team
The Gators swim team was established in 2009 and is dedicated towards teaching children and teens the essential skills of competitive swimming while also having fun in and out of the water!
The season kicks off in May and runs through mid July each year.
The Socorro Ragin' Gators is not a learn-to-swim program or group swim lessons. It is a competitive summer swim team. Thus, swimmers should already have some basic swimming skills before joining the team and are expected to be able to swim the entire length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted prior to their first day of practice. A try out will be required for all new swimmers unless they've previously competed on a swim team.
